We are now entering autumn, which is an excellent opportunity to capture some images from above as the season change. The trees in particular are areas that can present some amazing images as they change from green to gold. The photo opportunity can be repeated every week or so to build up the changes in your area. Come on, have a go!! KAP Shot over Kettlestoune Mains (Linlithgow Bridge) Showing View Over the Pond

Very nice shot Jim. Stability doesn't seem to be any problem.

The only autumnal colours I picked up were by accident, I was trying to get some photographs of a long barrow which in the past has been heavily denuded by ploughing. The best time to see the barrow is in the autumn and spring at sunrise, when strong low light can throw one side of the site into shadow. To get the kite in the air and the camera to a reasonable position the wind needs to be coming from the north west. Date: 10 November 2013 Coldwell Bridge Long Barrow 2 / Long Barrow W of Coldwell Brook near Shipton-Under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire. Link: Oxfordshire Historic Environment record informationNext time I fly the site I will try to get some photographs looking straight across the side of the barrow towards the sun.
